is there such a thing as too much carbon? is 196w good for a 45 gal reef tank, and what kinds of things can i expect to keep, also im planning on starting a 45 and want to get rid of my stinkin nano, id like to put what i have in it in the 45, however i have the aragonite reef sand, its pretty course but id like to transfer it to the big tank as i really want to get rid of my nano, i only have a maroon clown and banded shrimp, got probably 15 lbs of rock, but id like to add probably 25 to 30 lbs and i wouldnt want my maroon to be in the tank while it cures, i need some help because i really have no idea how to do this
