Can someone please tell me what size bulkhead or hole would come in a standard 210 gal (7" X 2" X 2") Oceanic reef-ready tank? I have some leaks and I think I may not have the right size b/h's in the holes.

Also, how can I tell what size the b/h's are that I actually do have?

thanks a ton!

I'm pretty sure it would need a 1" bulkhead. My Oceanic had four holes drilled, and accepted a 1" bulkhead. The holes in the tank where approx. 1.75 inches.

When you say leaks, are you talking about a drip or something greater?

I had a similiar problem on my tank and had to have my brother get on a ladder and actually apply some pressure on top of the bulk head while I tightened it. But I only had a drip...

yes mine has 4 holes drilled also, one for draining and one for return on each side

as for the leaking, yes it is a drip, not slow or anything, but definitely a drip to slow trickle

Would there be a significant difference if I mistakenly used a 3/4" B/H instead of a 1" B/H?

Yes there would be a significant difference. You need the correct size bulkhead.

Are you sure you have the wrong size, or might you have the rubber gasket on the wrong side of the glass?

nope, I have the gasket on the inside, (ie. top) of the glass inside the overflow
