175W Metal Halide And SPS?

I was just about to buy a 250 watt metal halide retofit kit when I heard about HelloLights.com's great deal. Do you think a 175 watt 10k metal halide retrofit kit would be enough light to keep sps in a 29? Any info is welcome.

i grow out acro frags with the same set up in a 29 with vho actinics.fast growth rates.tank does heat up without some added cooling though.

Yup. I have 175s on my 30" deep tank and my acros that are about 14" from the bulb do fine.
