How long 'til snail eggs hatch?

I've had patches of greyish/white eggs laid on the back glass and the roof of a rock cave in my tank now for nearly 4.5 months. I haven't noticed that any of them hatched. The patch on the rock just continues to expand. At first I thought it was a flatworm that I once saw slither into a hole when I turned the lights on one night, but upon closer observation, I'm pretty sure they're eggs.

I don't expect anything to live to maturity. I was just curious. Thanks.

hmm. weird. wonder what the heck my water params are missing to cause the eggs to not mature? time to snap a pic and post it, I suppose. thanks SCR.

If they're expanding, they aren't eggs.
