Here are some pics I took over the holiday season while on vacation. I have a cheap digital camara so please ignore the flash reflection in the pics. Hope you like them.

Looked like a wonderful trip. I wonder what they use to light their reef tanks.

Cool stuff, but was the flash necessary?

I tried it without the flash and it was so dark you couldn't tell there was anything there.

My niece works at the one in Myrtle Beach. The last time I was down, she took us behind the scenes. We got to see all the equipment, feeding schedules, etc. Very impressive to say the least. I've yet to go to the one in Gatlinburg. They were building it the last time we were there. Looks like a nice place.

No need they are all fake. But it is very nice indeed.

I've visited this aquarium. They had only a couple small tanks with live coral, all of the big "reef" tanks had only decorative plastic corals. It was still a very enjoyable trip.

just a little tip on the flash showing up in pics. take the pic either from above the eyeline or below it. never take a pic with flash from straight on.

anyways. great pics!

i went there about 2 years ago..it was like $25 bucks per person to get in...all the corals are fake...the fish were very neat to see, but i was not impressed overall
