Check out Premium Aquatics for some lights. Here's a nice T5 setup. Plenty of others to choose from too.

Be carefull what you order. Some of those T5 bulbs have a built in ballast so when they burn out you have to replace the whole fixture instead of just a new bulb. Being they're that cheap I'm guessing thats what they are but not sure.

You have a 48 inch tank so you want 47- 48 inch bulbs not 36.

I'd say you need at least 4 54 watt high output bulbs which are for a 48 inch tank.
I have 6 of them on my 55 and like it. 6 is better because you can run more combos of bulbs.
Another thing you want in lighting is 2 seperate on/off switches so you can put a timer on them and run actinics for dawn/dusk effect.

You don't have to go real expensive but get something halfway decent the first time or it will cost you more in the long run when you still arent happy with them.
