I have heard that the All Glass version of this tank was recalled because the front panel of the aquariums were literally falling out.

Is this a concern with the Oceanic version. I know they have recently merged but this tank was built prior to that.

Any info or sources of info would be greatly appreciated.

I have not heard of this problem and it is not anywhere on AGA's website. Where did you get this info? I would be interested in seeing this. I have a 95 wave AGA and have never had a problem. But to answer your question, even before they merged, AGA and Oceanic were manufactured in the same facility; hence why many of their products are similiar.

The guy I deal with at my LFS. He stated that AGA actually had a recall.

Would you guys mind sharing your equipment specs for the 95 wave and also some pics. Would love to see what you did with it. :eek2: I just picked up a brand new tank and stand from a guy that never got around to using it.

Interested in tank flow also.

Thanks,

Trip

Jamal,

Thanks...couple more ?? if you don't mind. Is all your peripheral equipment mounted inside the stand?

I was also leaning toward bare bottom. Did you line with bottom with starboard (HDPE) or perhaps limestone? I am leaning towards limesone but still researching.

Everything is in the stand, will probably move everything to the basement eventually.

I use starboard, coverd in coraline in a couple months. I'll try to get some pics and post them.
