i have had my tank for around 3 months now... and i cant seem to keep my amonia at 0 ... right now it is around .2 - .25

i use amquel and i do water changes weekly... i think that small amount of amonia is what killed my fish... but my long tentacle plate coral is doing fine...

how to i get my amonia down.. my cycle should be complete

What testkit are you using to test?

Has it been going down?

What are you using for new water? Tap?

Does the kit read zero on other tanks? It may just be a faulty kit, or the ammonia may come from the dead fish and other organisms, rather than the ammonia killing the fish.

If you have, or think you have, an ammonia problem, you should get your own kit so you can track the levels, and have some confidence that it is working accurately.
