Help with an ID!!

What could this be, it is very close to the rock ? When it is touched it withdraws. Any Ideas/ Sorry I couldnt get a closer pic. Need a better camera.

when you touch it does the whole thing withdraw or just the part you touch?

Just the part I touch. That rock is where my leather coral is attached too. It is a little mounded also.

Looks like Starlet Coral. Forgot the scientific name.

Looks like an encrusting coral to me. Could be a goniopora that's on it's way out, could be a galaxia species. A good picture of the skeleton is necessary to know for sure. What ever it is, I'm pretty sure that it isn't a bad thing to have. Did you just get the rock?

Yeah, it came with the leather coral attached to it. I also have very tiny maybe 1/16 or smaller ( cant get a pic) on the same rock what looks like hydroids (if the id are correct on the other threads0. Are hydroids really tiny?
