I have one of these and have had one for awhile. It always kind of flops around, each day facing a new direction usually with an upturned head sometimes not. Is this very normal? In addition, how do these things naturally reproduce? I know you can frag the head like a pizza but I dont really need any more, I am just wondering how it is done in the wild

Mine did that for a while when acclimating to the tank, but after about 3 weeks, it has been photo perfect ever since. Are you sure you don't have excessive nitrates or temperature variations?

Mine acts the same way. I think it does it to get critters and debris off of it. Generally, the head is upright, but sometimes I have to rotate it or something to get it to stand up.
