I'm getting micro bubbles from the line from the overflow into my sump, the overflow is on a 55g and the sump is a 10g. I was wondering if any one has had luck using a flow-thru tank divider like these (http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441806492&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302030143&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023693&bmUID=1167844253419&itemNo=0&Ntt=TANK+DIVIDER&In=All&previousText=TANK+DIVIDER&N=2) i figure i could use 3 staggered in height like a baffle.

Get a filter sock (25 micron) and place on the end of the overflow discharge in the sump. get a couple as you need to clean them every week. Also could add solid staggered hieght baffles after the discharge area and before the return pump pick up. Look in DIY section on Sump builds.
The other possible source is the discharge from the skimmer, I also use a sock there on my setup and no micro bubbles

FWIW Your powerheads can also cause microbubbles. I have to remove one of mine every few months and clean them. ;)
