Solar supply 48" t-5 setup. Appx. 8 months old. Three geisemann aquablue+, two GE daylights, and one unknown blue bulb. Built in cooling fan. Two ballasts....one controls the middle two bulbs, the other the outer four. Seperate switches for both ballasts. Seperate switch for the cooling fan as well. Very good condition. No problems.

Does that have individual reflectors? I was looking at 2 250mh but I have t-5 now and have liked it.

No...it is a single reflector. Sweet cube reefer. You just can't beat that shape for aquascaping. Very nice

danieljames,
I'm interested in your light...will you ship? does it have an acrylic shield? can you tell me the dimensions - i can't find a website for the manufacturer?
thanks

I'll ship it in the box it was shipped to me in. Actual shipping charges only. I would recommend insurance though. It has a single reflector. It is fitted for an acrylic shield, but does not include one.

I edited my post since I saw you answered the question about the reflectors. can you tell me the dimensions? thanks
out of curiosity, what lights are you switching to?

I've removed the coral from the display because it's an aiptasia farm. I switched to a dual NO fluorescent and will put a raccoon and falcula/auriga in to see what they can do with the aips.

I am looking to upgrade from 6 vho's and am torn between t-5's or 250w mh. This fixture is exactly what I would like to go to if I chose t-5's. Do t-5's produce enough light for sps? I have a riteri and a few monipora caps. thanks

Irishrose.....I personally would not recommend t-5's for a ritteri unless your aquarium is fairly shallow. Also, imo you would need to go with all daylight bulbs in a t-5 fixture for such an animal. It could be done, but i'm assuming you have a standard size aquarium. Get your 250 halide for the anemone long term. I think she would be healthier for it. As far as sps go, it's been my experience that t-5's have plenty of light for sps if proper placement is considered. Especially your caps (monti's). No worries there at all with t-5's.
rcollick....pm back to you sir

would you be interested in some type of trade for a 150G drilled tank?

thank you for your honesty. I do have a standard tank and currently the riteri is at the very top under the vho's. I have had it for over a year now and is healthy but I feel it can look and/or do better. again, thanks for the honesty.
