Thoughts on the Nikon Coolpix L3...

Well got this for our daughter for Christmas, was just wondering if anyone here has this or has had any experience with it.?. It seems to take some realllllly nice shots, but between resizing and such for her space, it seems to lose some quality :( in the photos...
