I am listing this for a friend. This unit is brand new and used for a month for evaluation purpose only. This is an excellent skimmer with minimal maintenance, a true no fuss skimmer.

This unit is the flange design (not sealed design where the inside of the skimmer is not accessible) that utilizes a full-face gasket and 8 nylon thumbscrews with keyhole for easy on/off access. Great for annual cleaning of the main skimmer body. Sludge will never build up in the skimmer body as it does in downdrafts and nozzle injection skimmers, which must be taken down regularly to keep them working. This unit also includes the optional drain valve and is a necessity as when the skimmer cup is full of skimmate, it is much more difficult to remove for cleaning as the O-ring that holds the collection cup in place is very tight.
