rare and/or exotic SPS corals

Hello

what's the rarest or most exotic SPS coral you have or you've seen. I'm currently looking for a lemonade acro frag, but I know there are other out there I can get that are just as nice. The best place to find them and any info on them is here of RC, IMO. So, what SPS is the rarest one you have or seen, and if you can post pics, please do. Show off what ya got, inquiring eyes want to see them

Oh and if you have a lemonade frag for sale, pm me, PLEASE

RevClyburn

I've been wondering about this myself. I'm repopulating my tank, and would like some interesting stuff. Just frags would do, but it's hard to find what I like and keep it affordable.

Yeah

same here. Right now I just have softies in my tank, I got rid of all my fish, and rescaped the whole thing. Now I'm going to get the corals I want, but they seem to be in small supply. I'll eventually get a lemonade acro, just want to see whatelse is out there,. But it seems like everyone must have the same things in their tank, no one has posted anything.

I love the chalices, especially the watermelons. The red is awesome. Lately I am in love with a certain orange chalice that I am getting in a few weeks. There are so many cool sps, everyone has their own idea of what is cool/rare/their preference. It seems the Orenjii Danae is a current really rare piece, meaning it has not been distributed to to many folks yet. I like the montipora setosa as well, another one that is probably less distributed at this point.

I like some of the rare echinatas because they not only have nice color, but great texture/form.

Che bella echinata! Hai alcune altre foto? Vogliamo vedere la tua vasca. L'echinata è un po' difficile a trovare qui in America. Tante persone dicono "o questo è un echinata" ma di solito è una turaki o qualcos'altro.

I agree with Slojmn, the watermelons are amazing and whenever I'm looking at photos, the people who know nothing about rare corals always say "whoa! whats that?".

The #1 acro on my list right now though is the red robin acro. That thing is killer and no one ever seems to have a frag.

As for montis, the orange montipora setosa has been causing quite a stir also. Here's mine:

This is sexy!

Because of the tips, I'd lean more towards either an awi, turaki, or subglabra

You know, some collectors are just so selfish that way

I wish they were mines, and they probably cost more than that. They're not so easy to come by, just like the corals posted. One day, I'll have the fish and the coral. I'm going to be poo, but I'll have my tank, coral and fish, lol.
