FYI: Local tank and livestock for sale

I just saw these ads in the paper and thought I'd post them here. I want the tangs, but they are pretty much full grown so I'm going to pass.

Fish: 2 yellow tangs, 1 sail tang, 1 purple tang, 1 powder blue tang and live rocks.

Aquarium: Salt water, 200 gallon, oceanic, with stand & hood, compact lights, protein skimmer, wet/dry filter, UV sterilizer and pumps. $1500/obo.

For anyone new to this, if the equipment is in 1/2way decent shape, that is an EXCELLENT deal!

His # is 925-5875

there are other ads too, but these were more impressive.

Man, I was just about to post that I'm thinking about a larger tank for my new house! My Fiancé will flip out if I spend $1500 on a tank. Of course, she has no problem letting me figure out how to come up with a down payment and financing. She flips out when I spend $35 on frags!

He wants $150 for the purple tang, says it is the size of an extended hand.

Pete, $1500 is much better than buying it all separately. She got a ring, this could be your engagement gift and that came from a female!

I know I shouldn't sweat $1500 considering whats going into the house. Plus, I feel really cramped with my 55g. I'll see about giving that guy a call.

Hey Pete,

I hope you have a nice new couch. You might be spending some cold nights on it!

I'm sure my couch has plenty of experience; its 80+ years old (restored three years ago)! I always joke with my fiance that it must be the dirtiest couch in the neighborhood.

I was thinking about Laura's comment while walking the dog yesterday; I wish I gave her that 200g tank instead of the ring.

I'm just passing along the info. I imagine that if he sells the tank he'd be willing to let the fish go for a lot less.

Ick. No. Don't you remember, it was the special bus with the ramp?
