yellow and kole tang..

Hey guys, i have a yellow tang and a kole tang in quarentine right now. when i bought them, they were eating a mix of fresh homemade food. all meat (i think the breeder said shrimp, scallops, and one more which i forget...lived in southern florida so he had "fresh" fish food) at this point im trying to get them interested in these algea sheets I bought...so far no luck. they are finicky with the mysis but love the cylopeez. also, they are extremely shy. however, im sure they will get over that.
any help with getting them to eat the sheets would be great. thanks!

You can try soaking in Kent's Garlic extreme, or Seachem's Garlic guard it may help as the aroma of it may attract them to eat.

How long have you had them? If only a day or two I wouldn't worry. In any case, if the breeder was feeding them fresh seafood you can pick up some Prime Reef cubes. They're a mix of many different meats and your fish should see something in there they like. Don't get stuck on getting them to feed on nori, that will come with time considering they've never seen it before.
