Unfortunately, it looks as though I will be unable to make the frag swap this weekend. I have something like 18 people showing up at my house this weekend for Easter. My brother-in-law is coming in from Alaska . . . I will surely get a whoopin if I try to sneak out for any length of time. For those interested in frags from me, I am sure we can make other arrangements.

Mark - let me know if you want to trade the zoas or monti for the blasto frag that I have. I have to check the colors of one set of zoas to see if they are the same as yours or not.
Thanks,
Let me know
Walter

Mark, can I buy one of those orange rimmed zoa frags?

Actually if you bring them I will take as many as I can 'till the $$ runs out. You have some neat colors there!

What lighting do you have (260W Orbit - Are those PCs?) I have 175W 14K MHs and I have the orange/pink birdsnest near the bottom. I have another birdsnest near the top and it is much more pink.

I am not an expert on the lighting that it needs so maybe someone else could chime in here.

keith- how do the yellow polyps grow. are they best kept on the sandbed to keep them from taking over rockwork or are they pretty easy to manage?
Thanks,
-Walter

Captain, the yellow polyps are definitly best kept isolated on the bottom. I sold that colony already. I do have another that I could frag out if your interested. they are not hard to find but they look so cool fully opened.

Downset, I cannot remember exactly which red blasto you have. It very well could be. Take a look in my gallery, there are more images there of the colony. These are the first set of frags from this colony. After quite a few years too.
