Invert Shots

I was able to shoot some pics of inverts that turned out well this past weekend. Here are a couple:

I love the way these coco worms look with their spiral growth and their attachment into their tube. The colors on this one are spectacular. Here it is just coming out of the tube:

Great shots Bob. I just got the D40x last week and today I picked up the new Nikon 105 macro lens. I still have a long way to go

That's a sweet lens Mark!! Use a tripod and a remote release, set the camera on Aperture Priority and use it at f/11.

I got a manfrottto pro with swivel ball mount. No remote release as I need to learn how to use my new purchase. I tried to snap a couple of shots and I can already tell it is going to be a long road... Thanks for the tips.
