Help Again! Giant mushroom
My Giant mushroom don't seem to be doing well. It's turning white, and shrinking. What could be this problem? All water chemistry seems fine. I did see a damsel picking at it. Could it be he killed it?

He might not be happy, shrooms are know to split when not happy, probably that's what's going on right now.

Is it pale white or a clear color? If its white its probably dying and the damsel was probably picking at it after. It may be some infection, but I can't really tell without a pic. Is it receiving too much light?

turning white usually means bleaching from too much light.

Mine just did that too when it went from PC lighting 3 watts a gallon to MH & PC at 7.5 watts a gallon. Hoping it will recover. Pics are in my gallery. Note both pics of shrooms are same rock.

Yes it's turning white not clear. I will try moving it to a lesser lit up area. The majority of you seem to believe it's lighting so i will give it a shot! Thanks again Reef God's!

I had to move mine into a cave when I went from pc to t5. When they sit about half way out of it they expand the best. . .
