fiji tank revisited

just sharing my new project........
OK - frags are 100% sold out and i do not plan at this time to do a lot of fragging till it is time to get ready for next years swap. in the mean time i will only be cutting frags to order and will not have a build up like i did ever again. so the fiji tank (what i call my DIY nano) is again back in commission - this time with a new theme............ zoas. my zoa cluster rocks were a big seller for me this year so i plan to continue to upgrade my brood stock and offer more in the future
i changed out the lights so that i would have two actinics and one white and started with a small stack of rock in the middle. i then took all of my zoas out of the 125 and placed them in here. i have two very large zoa brood stock rocks still in the 35 but will be moving them in here as well one day. i went to more actinic because recent experience has shown me that high end colored zoas like blue light, i can easily change back to 2 whites if i am wrong.
i also may have a hook up to a captive bred high end RBT anemone that may supercead this project as i originally wanted to convert this to an anemone tank but wasn't able to get one last weekend
anyway enough talk - here is the pic - sorry it is very blue

Very cool John.
I just dont know what it is with my zoa's. I can keep anything else but have problems with alot of my zoa's. They live and do good for awhile and then die. Then again some Ive had for years and palys seem to be fine.
Ive never seen nudis and checked and dipped for them several times.
I want a zoa tank!!!

kass you have me stumpted too - zoas have always been good to me and your stuff is phenomenal - it just doesn't make sense.
BTW i just moved those shrooms of yours to fiji and got thinking - have i ever told you how much i like them? they are my favorite shroom - i think i got one from you in november and now i have three big ones: it was this one i was going to bring one to the swap but i like them too much:

yeah mike those are your clowns - happy and healthy - they will however be moving into the sump of my 125 and my 4+? year old ocelaris pair will be going in this tank. the original plan was to get rid of the frags, buy an anemone and set this tank up for them but it just didn't work out that way for some unknown reason i bought a huge acan instead . i plan to take your clowns back to school next fall and set them up in a nice tank with some leathers and shrooms from my hex.

Yeah thats my purple frilly. I started with 1 about quarter sized I got from zoamania (I think forgot the name lol) about 3 or more yrs ago.
I never saw any other frillys with that nice of color.
Mine have gotten big and split many times.

Your tanks look really cool and I know your corals are always awesome.
