External overflows
I'm wanting to do an external overflow on a AGA 210 1/2" glass end panel.
What thickness glass should I use for the overflow box? Thought about 1/2" but might be too much weight this will be a pennisula tank and I don't want too see the overflow if possible. Any suggestions? The box I'm thinking about should be around ?X6X12 only have 24"wide so it is limited some. How wide should I make the box?And should I support below it for safety? Thanks for any comments, suggestions or whatever else

my box is 6" x 6" x 94". It works great leaving enough room for water but not too much, and is a good place for frags.
