I would try to check out trading w/fellow reefers or visiting your dreaded LFS. With exotic frags, I like to see what I get and see the quality of the frag before ordering sight unseen. Make sure they have a arrive alive guarantee.

I have had great success visiting different LFS for frags, sometimes they have great pieces, example, just found some joker palys on Saturday night, great price too.

all those are garbage in my opinion, here are a few good vendors, you don't here much about them because most of them aren't member here. but they are the best in the business:

www.cherrycorals.com
www.exoticfrags.us
www.reefraft.ca
www.ultimatefrag.com

cherrycorals is the best imo.

cherrycorals just changed their layout on their website, so they don't have much for sale right now. they are the best for everything.

I ordered a 10 pack and 3 individuals. The plugs were thrown in very small bags (causing the plugs to knock frags off of other plugs), some frags which were supposed to contain no less than 5 polyps, only had 1, and it looked like a kindergarden kid glued most of them on. It was a very bad experience, and they won't get my $200 again.

Only one I haven't seen mentioned here that I have liked is www.zoanuts.com.

I've spoken to a couple of vendors. At least one reason for not being impressed with sites is zoa's are in short supply at this time from wholesalers. Have anything to do with time of year?

That sucks. Its never cool to get a sloppy order. I dont blame you for feeling like you do. Each frag needs its own bag and plenty of water.

1 bag had either 5 or 6 plugs in it and the bag was so small I had to cut it down the side just to be able to grab the plugs.

I ordered from zoafrag 2 weeks ago and 4 of the 10 frags were dead and the other 6 wasn't even what I ordered. Not to mention after 20 plus years in the hobby never having zoa pox I now do and have lost some nice colonies. I guess i'll be buying some furan-2 tommorow to try and save the rest Thanks
