Shrink-wrap messed up my acrylic
Ok here's the deal. I have an acrylic tank that has some residue on it that the shrink-wrap left behind. I have tried to use RO/DI water but it doesnt take it off. What else could I use? Maybe some viniger and RO/DI?
Thanks |

Can you scrap it off with a plastic scrapper like an old credit card?

Residue on the surface or more like a hazing that had been etched into the acrylic from a scrub pad?
My tanks came bubble wrapped and had several spots that sound like what you have. I used a suitable aquarium polishing cream and it worked fine. Took some time and a bit of muscle but it was as good as new. Brett Brett

Thanks Brett!
That sounds like it will do the trick. |
