Question anenome or no anenome?

i am allowed to set up a new tank for xmas for a breeding pair of clowns ( ia have been waiting for over a year) should i have and anenome or not is there ant deference? any input would be great

just a 6" clay pot, it's far less hassle IME.

Just like JETCAT states....
no anemone. You don't need one, the fish will breed fine w/o one, and your not stuck trying to keep the anemone alive. Its much less work.

I agree. They don't need the anemone. Do yourself a favor and make sure you get them laying on a something removable like a clay pot or tile. It's a pain trying to catch larvae in the middle of the night.

what kind of tile do you all use

I believe you can use any kind of clay tile as long as it's clean. I've been trying to get mine to lay on a piece of slate tile I found in my basement. Unfortunately mine are already quite content laying on a 25lb rock and don't want to switch to the tile. Better to get them to lay on the tile first.
