Here is my 58g. The right MH had just shut off when I took this picture, that is why the left side looks brighter.

What are the dimensions on that 58? I think I'll gonna get a custom 36"x30"x20" and I need a visual of how it'll look.

What fixture are you using Peter? I want to go t5 for my 40 and was trying to find one that is 36"

I was considering the jebo units on ebay but then I heard about the burnt down houses and decided to avoid that.

Hey perhaps it is set up in a way that there is not enough room for the fan to fit b/t the tank rim and the hood. But, thanks for the concern.

And that fan has been like that for about 3 years now.

My 36L x 24W x 18H 60g, just turning 3 months old. I just transfered some acros over. My Vortech will be installed tomorrow evening and I'm getting some more frags at our local club meeting next week. Thread is linked to my red house.

The legs give it away as a Tek fixture, pretty much the only one available stateside right now worth buying. I have a 4x24W 24" horticultural T5 fixture that was about $100 without lamps, pics are in my tank thread on p. 6. Google the "sun wave t5" and Specialty Lighting pops up in the top 5 links. It's on my prop system so it doesn't matter that it looks like @ss.

Mike, the aculeus is located below the tenius where the 2 cleaner shrimp is on the left side of the tank.

nano streams get my vote if you look at the tans we all have the nanos or seios and the seios stick out like a sore thumb in our pics but the nanos blend right in.

Deranged Jester,

I am using 2 Tuzne 6000 streams and a multicontroller. My tank looks like crap though so I won't show it.

Lowbudget, how long have you had the rose? Does it wander much on you? I'm sorely tempted to put one in my tank but I'm worried how long it may take for it to find a spot.

I can't tell how you stacked your rock structure, but I think what you have could be even stronger if you opened up a volume as indicated. It would put the a heavy mass on the end with the anemone and really contrast. I also feel that scraping the back glass will really make the contents pop against the clean background.
