fish compatability with each other and corals
Hi guys!
I have a question about fish/coral/aneneme/ and other invertebrate compatability. I would love to have zoanthids, acropora, maxima clams, shrimp etc. I am pretty sure the following fish are compatable 6 line wrasse potter's angel maroon clown fish hepatus and yellow tang coris gramiard (coral wrasse) green bird wrasse and mandarin goby but I would also love to have the following fish, but aren't sure they could be compatable first with the fish above and second with corals and other invertebrates Valentinis puffer huma huma trigger ostraciaon melagris boxfish I am just planning my tanks now, not even set up yet so any advice would be great. Thanks again, Val |

Re: fish compatability with each other and corals
potter's angel---may nip at corals
mandarin goby---tough to keep without a mature tank full of pods. Valentinis puffer huma huma trigger ostraciaon melagris boxfish All three of these will decimate a reef tank. There may be other incompatabilities, but thses are the ones i am pretty sure of.

Thanks for confirming my fears... too bad because those are dang cool little fish. I didn't know about the potters angel, will a coral beauty nip at corals too? Oh and thanks for the tip on the mandarin.
Appreciate the time you took to answer my post. val |

All dwarf angels are 50/50 chance at nipping your corals IMO. There's no guarantee on anything. If you were looking to set up 2-90g reef, then why can't you make one reef and one fish only with rocks. That way allows you to keep many fish that you cannot keep in a reef tank.
