anyone looking to buy a canon xti?

Just a heads up if anyone looking for a xmas present for themselves. I saw this on slick deals...seems like a pretty good price (much better than what I paid last year).

ok sorry I'm a noob when it comes to cameras. I still use a Sony Mavica with floppy disk (no joke)

When it says "body only", does it mean I only get the plastic body case?? what else do I need to buy separately?

body only means just the camera you do not get lense. SLR's do not have fixed lenses. This is how you can change lenses example macro lenses

It means just the camera with no lense. One of the advantages of a DSLR is the ability to change lenses depending on your wants and needs. You have a wide variety of lenses to chose from wide angle, fixed focal length, short and long zooms, and macro lenses. They all come in different brands and qualities.

This macro lens is a popular favorite here for coral shots...
