what is a good vendor to order live rock? I would like to hear personal experiences than just reading testimonials they placed on their own site.

They frequently have specials on E-bay at really great prices for Fiji Premium. While they're not the best at communication, or speedy shipping, the rock I've purchased has been really awesome. You will have to cure it as they are direct importers.

If you live anywhere near California. UPS standard shipping will do.

I only get Premium Aquatics Marshall Island Rock. Awesome shapes. Also they are in the 1 day shipping zone to the Chicago area so you can go with Ground and get it next day to limit die off.
