Diving around Tampa Bay Florida?

Will be in Tamba Bay between Xmas and New Years - does anybody know of any good diving spots or charters that can be taken in that area? I am an experienced diver.

Thanks.

you can check out some dive charters out of clearwater
you can try here
http://www.narcosisscuba.com/
i have not been on that one before but had friends go

the water is getting cold so hopefully it will be clearing up a bit so you can see more that 5 ft ahead of you

if you can get your own boat there are 9 army tanks 4 miles off passagrille that are pretty neat
i want to dive its been like 8 months

Down in Venice there are some shark tooth dives in shallow water. Lots of bottom time and souvenirs. Also there are alot of artificial reefs just outside the bay. If you google tampa bay reefs, I believe you can find them. Also try florida-scuba.com

We dive with Narcosis out of Tarpon Springs. Joyce and her crew are great to dive with. This is in the Tampa Bay area. We go to man made reefs, airplanes, barges, limestone ledges. We have seen 400 lb jewfish on several dives. Give her a call and tell her Rodney and Vicki from Tennessee sent you!! Have a great trip.

Anyone know what the water temps will be like in that time/area? I'm headed there, as well as to see the mouse, at the same time.

Your much better off making the drive to the east coast. Jupiter or West Palm Beach you can dive in the gulfstream and its way better.
