Scolymia Placement

Hey all. Just got a new Scolymia today and I am not sure where to place it. I see just about everyone places it on the sandbed, but everything I read says to NOT place it there. Open to suggestions here.

Sandbed IMO. Needs some room so spread out. Just ake sure it does not get sand blown up on it. I keep all three of my trach's on the sand bed with no problem.

I second the sandbed. They do need room to spread out, and often need the support b/c of how far they spread.

Awesome. Thanks guys. Have it on the sandbed in the front of the tank. It's getting a low flow (so as not to tear it from the skeleton), and a good amount of direct lighting from 65w PC's. It's about 6 1/2" across now (from about 3" during acclimation), and I suspect it's got 1-2" more to go. I'll try to post some pics when I get the chance, as I am actualy very excited about finally getting one of these.
