We need to transfer the tank inwards and this crane can't do that. You will see in pictures when we move inside next Tuesday.

I've just added a little video of the aquarium lifting to Youtube.com

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppPLihdc_Qw

It gives a better feeling for the size of that thing

We are lifting it into the building next Tuesday I hope.

How many beers did it take to calm your nerves after it was over?
That made me nervous just watching the video

hehe.. I was quite nervous and my heart rate got a little higher. It feelt really good to see it touch the ground.

I think I will be even more nervous when they are going to try to maneuver it inside next week.

No, it's going on the second floor. There has been construction on the building and the wall of the room that is going to house the tank has been removed. There are pillars in the way so it's going to be a tight fit.

CCP is known to do things well and on a grand scale so the final outcome is certain to be just as cool as anything else they do.

Once again I find great difficulty finding words to describe this.....only a public aquarium or zoo could possibly compete. How thrilling this must be for you
