Who still wears a watch?

Not to poo-poo on Andrew's Christmas present, but with clocks now in so many devices, I can't even remember when I last wore a watch.

I always wear a watch. I lost my watch this summer and went nuts without it for a week or two until I got it replaced. Of course as soon as I ordered a new watch I found the other one

I wear a watch everyday. I've actually had the same Timex that I got from Walmart for the last 3 years and have had to change the battery once.

Its been several years since I last wore a watch. I used to wear one pretty much 24/7 (even at night), then my last one broke for who knows what reason and I never got around to getting another one. I don't have a cell phone, PDA or any other type of gizmo like that I carry on me to tell the time either. We have plenty of clocks here in the house to look at, and if I'm out of the house I don't rightly care exactly what time it is. I can usually guess pretty close what time it is without anything telling me the time (within 15-20 minutes at least), and that's all the more accurate I need to be on an average day .

Here's a couple that I have, but I've got a couple more including the black one I wear most of the time which is like Jesse's watch.

My job requires me to wear a watch, but I rarely put it on my arm. I hate the way it feels (I don't wear jewelry) and I end up checking it a few times a minute, which makes the day go by SLOOOW. I just keep it in my pocket.

And what's the deal with putting it on the opposite arm that you write with? I've never heard this properly explained. I'm right handed, so it is much more convenient to put it on my right arm, when I do wear it. That is, however, wrong.

Marks - I'm sure the oposite side thing got started when people were having to note times and such on records, much easier to write it if you can keep pen on paper and look at the watch at the same time .... but thats just a guess

I wear mine on my left arm and I am left handed.

I wear a watch at work and when I'm dressed in something more formal than jeans and a T-shirt. I received my watch from my lovely spouse, so it is special to me.

If I wake up at night, I can usually guess what time it is without looking at a clock to about a ten minute accuracy. I seem to be able to keep track of time while I sleep.

It's easier for me to look at my watch than to dig my cell phone out and check the time. I'm not the type of person that always has her phone in her hand. I forget my phone more than I forget my watch!

i have a decent watch that i will wear if i'm going out, or going to class, but for the most part i do not wear a watch. any poll with porcupines as an option skews my answer though!
