180gal. megaflow

Does anyone know how many gallons per hour the overflow can handle?

I believe it 600gls per overflow.

600 is optimal but it can handle much more. The more water you draw the more noise and turbualnce you create. I have a 180 RR with a Dart as a return. I bleed of some of the return threw the skimmer feed but I would guess I have about 800+ galls being pulled threw the overflows. If I bleed out more and get closer to 600GPH my system becomes near silent.

you could use all 4 holes for overflow if you really wanted

I think I want to try to get about 3500gph between the 2 of them, Run my CL and to my sump

I once had a mag 24 for my return pump on my 180 RR.

No problems.

just run 600 gph through each, other than that its just risky, and noisy. dont use your overflows for closed loop, run it over the back of the tank.
