Pinpoint monitor

I have been thinking about buying a pinpoint calcium monitor.
I was told that the monitor has to be calibrated too often to be worth the money.
Could Anyone tell me how often they need calibrating?

I bought one and all it did was show an error message so I returned it, the second one said the same thing. I decided that they were having problems with this type of monitoring device and I didn't want to spend $269 for a paper weight so I bought a third tunze instead. Pinpoint is a great company I own their PH and wireless temp monitors and there dead on, you are better off doing manual tests instead.

Have not heard many good things about CA monitors.
