any advice on making pump stick to tank wall?

I have a pump I want to hook up in my tank but the suction cups keep slipping off and then the whole thing is blowing sand all over the place.I tried cleaning them and soaking in vinegar to make them more sticky but no luck.I was thinking about trying magnets but the ones I have aren't strong enough to hold the pump up either.Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Yah there are magnets for most pumps now. If not what you can do is put a little super glue on the suction cups and place where you need to hold for about 30 sec to 1 min and you should be good.
