Neat feeding behavior in the little ones. The big one is very cool too. Its a shame feeding live food to the adults would probably be cost prohibitive.

Not very active at all. The will park themselves somewhere either on something or floating in the water column. They do seem to get excited when I walk into the room.

They are really a neat creature, you can see how deep the predatory instinct is embedded in them at 4 weeks old. Those poor little shrimp didn't stand a chance. Thanks for sharing!!

Do the adults eat mollies? If so that would be a cheap source of live food

Nice setup Paradox. You should post some of those pictures on tomno that haven't been posted yet. I hope you continue to have good luck with them. I am receiving 2 clutches tomorrow and am testing out 2 similar environments with a few differences. I will make sure to let you know how that goes.
Also, back on last page, the ink that species of genus Sepia produce is used as a brown dye. True sepia ink can be gotten from specialty craft stores and are extracted from cuttlefish. Next time you buy a box of 48 Crayola crayons you have a story to tell your kids . sm- It is actually more expensive to feed the babies. Live Mysids cost a TON of money, and as mentioned earlier these guys eat a bunch. Once they move on to larger foods (also to foods that don't cannibalize ^^) they are cheaper and easier to sustain. |

Paradox009, thanks for sharing your videos! The color changing is awesome. I love the way they stalk their food! |
