Red Fungia?

I was cruising around some vendor sites and came across this piece. I have seen orange, green, yellow, pink, and purple but never a red fungia. This thing looks intense. I wonder who ended up buying it?

It's possible but I think someone used some kinda lighting to make an orange one look red.

WOOO!! That is a NIIIIIIICE looking fungia. Reefmonger can you let us know what site and how much did they price it at?

Here is a pic of a nice fungia that has a reddish/orange look to it. Justin, if you don't want me to post this, let me know and I will take it off.

We got the first Red Fungia Ive ever seen in at work a few weeks ago. Its pretty cook looking, and is a pretty penny...lol. I dunno what site that pic up top came from, but I would be surprised if someone tweaked the lights to make an orange one look that red- its very much like the one we got. Havent been at work for a couple weeks though, so dont know if its still there. Neat though.

It was on phishy biz site. It was a good chunk of change but probably well worth it. Red in a plate coral is rare rare. Also sedar does not altar any pics. Just compare his pics to some other sites. That plate is as true as red as you get.

That was another item I hand picked in Jakarta about a month ago. Those are the true colors. Out of over 2,000 fungia there was one red. Most were orange and green. It went to a customer in Michigan.

Whoever bought the fungia, if you are a RC member please post a pic of the fungia!

Anyone else have a red or somewhat reddish looking fungia?

Here's a pic of mine. Blood red with a green mouth, green rim, and covered in white specs. Both pics were taken with a flash. It's a lot brighter under the tank lights.

Lordy, if I ever saw a true red fungia, I would sell my car to get it. What can I say, I'm a hardcore fungia lover.

Thx for the comments!

AquaKnight, I got it from a LFS a few months back for $160, an outrageously great price if you ask me.
