Powerhead Question

Getting back into the hobby after taking a few years off, and im deciding to just start from scratch with a lot of my old equipment. So, for a relatively standard dimension 180g tank, what are some suggestions for amount of water flow inside the tank (how many gph and # of powerheads). Just interested in seeing what other people are doing. For the first few months im goin to do fish only and take my time in getting a reef setup. thanks in advance.

I utilize a mag 18 as my return pump (1800gph without head loss) and two Koralia 4s (1200gph each) on my 150 gallon reef. Although I'm content with this arrangement, I'm considering adding another Koralia, but don't want to clutter the display.

I like to have as much flow as possible. I believe 10x-20x turnover per hour has been the traditional recommendation but is by no means the upper limit, in my experience.

I like the idea of adding two return pumps so as to avoid the clutter of powerheads.
