Which pendant would you choose?

And assuming the cost of them was not an issue. I would get the Aqua medic Ocean Light in a heartbeat if I knew that it wouldn't buzz. I had an AquaSpaceLight that annoyed the heck out of me. As it is, though, I have my doubts.

This is for my soon-to-be 29g. I want the potential to upgrade my tank without upgrading my lighting, so a 250W HQI is the only option. Anyway, the choices are in the poll. Here are the links if you're interested in checking them out.

1. Aqua Medic OceanLight - 1x250W w/ 20k bulb

2. 1x250W Reef Optix 3 pendant w/ Hamilton 14k bulb run on EVC electronic ballast

3. Same as above but with 20k bulb.

4. http://www.reefgeek.com/products/cat...ng/104600.html
1x250W Reef Optix 3 pendant w/ Hamilton 14k bulb run on a Blue Wave III ballast.

5. Same as above but with 20k bulb.

I'm retarded and can't get the URL parsing to work for the other two.

edit: Got it.

I personally like the color of the 20k that I've seen pics of. However, I don't run MH personally, so I may not be the best source, lol.

I'd stay away from the Ocean Lights - unless you like noise. The ballasts are NOT quiet (I've had 3). Do a search, you won't find much in the way of positives on this product (aside from the pendants look nice).

Gawain1974, thanks for the input - it is appreciated.

ErikS, I agree. I had an AquaSpaceLight over my previous 75 gallon, but the buzzing got the best of me and I had to sell it. I thought maybe with an external ballast it wouldn't be such a problem, but apparently it still is. Thanks much.
