A clean up crew and water changes will get rid of it.

i have two crabs, one is a saly foot, the other is a emerald and i have one little snail. i want to have a reef tank so what clean up crew should i have. my crabs and snail appeared out of the lr i bought. and a third crab popped out into view two days ago, but then when i turned the light back on his legs were scattered all over the place and no body was found. it looked like the saly foot ate the poor guy. crab legs are good though, i don't blame him!

What size tank to you have? How much live sand and rock to you have ? It depends on how big your tank is to advise how big of a clean uo crew you need.

You really should have double the rock and sand for better filtration. I would get about 20 or so of nassarius, cerith, and a couple of astrea turbo snails. I like the nassarius snails the best myself. Also get some extra shells if you can for the crabs to use when they outgrow theirs,so they won't be killing to many of your new snails for there new home.
