dt's oyster eggs

Hey just wondering about how and when you guys feed corals with this.
http://www.dtplankton.com/oystereggs.html
Do you guys feed at night like the site says??
Also, do you guys notice better colors and such with it?

Not sure if you need Dt's. Maybe a powerhead every few days in the sump and around the tank. My collonista snails are going crazy.

FWIW

Feed at night because that is when the corals will have greater polyp extension. They will also be able to capture more of what you are putting in the tank.

my corals love it, it is the only thing that keeps my flowerpot alive, ive had is for 1.5 years, it is HUGE now. All my LFS sell it for a rip price.. they want 25-35$ got a tiny little cup.

I put Oyster Eggs in my feeding recipe, along with phyto, golden pearls, and some amino acids. I turn the skimmer off for several hours, and I do feed at night as the current is reduced. I can't tell you whether or not it affects color, as I don't feed oyster eggs alone.

i feed my tank at night once a week. i notice my candy cane opens up at night and some of the polyps do too. there are also some animals that you never see during the day cycle that would like some food too.
