Skimmer stopped skimming

I soaked my skimmer in vinegar for 24 hours to clean it out and now it will not skim a thing. Any suggestions how I can jump start this thing?
This has never happened before. Nothing else has changed either. It's a CSS220 if that helps.

Make sure that you put it back together correctly. I know from personal experience that some times I have put pieces in backwards. Other than that give it 24 hrs and see what happens. Hope this helps. Mike/KD9RG

man, everyones css seems to have stopped working lately, including mine. check the hole where the air injection hose hooks up to the pump. that's where the problem will be.

After you clean it, it needs to build up a slime coat before the bubbles will foam enough to skim. Happens to both my skimmers after I clean the cup for an hour or two, and longer when I clean the whole skimmer.
