rimless aquarium?

I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive rimless tank 65+gallons. I was hoping that some rimless tank owners could recommend some online venders and maybe share some pics, experiences, and advice on them.

I love the look of a rimless glass tank but I've got to think that it's just not going to be as durable over time. I may be incorrect but those seams must ba handling more pressure than a tank with a traditional rim.

Some rimless tanks use a notched PVC bottom plate that the glass locks into so bracing is not necessary. Also glass thickness is taken into consideration to ease the pressure. Invincible has a sweet rimless tank, try PM him for info. His thread is in the Large reef tank forum.

they also use stronger adhesives...hagen makes some but they only sell in canada, they are very fair in price.

i made mine myself, working with acrylic really isnt hard.polishing the edges takes more time for me than the tank build itself.
24"x24"x14" with 3/4" walls

I just purchased a roughly 90G 36"x24"x22" from Leemar. It is completely braceless and frameless and has Starphire on 3 panels. In addition it has a laminated layer of PVC on the bottom panel for added support and a black coated background. This tank is super slick. FYI, rimless and inexpensive are 2 words which you won't see together very often due to the extra precautions manufacturers must go to to ensure structural integrity. However, it is all worth it in the end.

Ramon, you have to post pics of the tank. I would love to see a Leemar braceless tank.

Hey Sang, believe it or not, i actually don't have any photos just yet. The tank is sitting in my garage all wrapped up. I suppose i could take photos of the wrapping but it probably won't help anyone here. The tank is a beauty!!! Leemar did a really clean job on this tank from what i've seen so far. I'll probably start a build thread somewhere on RC when i get the stand finished next week.
