LOL...it spent a year encrusting before throwing up any branches...I acidently broke a a couple braches off it too that I've got to put back on it...

speaking of digi's I was amazed at this one. It's Tim's green with orange poylps that I got from the last MARS swap that was held at Pam's...and was only maybe 2" the last time I saw it (it was in the back behind the rockwork where I couldn't normally see it)

Dang! Thats grown hellatiously too! It seems like mine grows better towards the back as well than getting high light and flow. Anything your trying differently this time around? Any new regiments your implementing? The only scare I have about the sand is the bloom that will follow and the fight that will incur trying to keep the corals from getting covered. Probably some rowa or phosband would cure that though as long as your carefull. Anyway, Im definately envious of the "clean" look you got goin right now

I washed the sand in new salt water before putting it in. I didn't want any of their preservative in my tank. I did seed it a little with some of the old sand, and so far no bloom yet. I think things are starting to come around. especially once I put a little more flow in the tank by adding a skimmer for the first time on a temp. bases until the sand bed matures a little more.

Looking good, I love the powder blue stag. When are you upgrading to the bigger tank again?

I have that ROAB green based/orange digi as well and is a monster. I found with mine, when I put it in the back in indirect light and fed phyto.....it darkens up really nice and shows the green base really well. Everytime I break a piece off, I just put it back on and it grows a new base, almost resembles a birdsnest now........well not really.

Justin, you want clean.....try a BB tank...

I plan on getting a 150....48"x24"hx30"deep....but this is probably a few months out. I've got to move first.
