some macros w/ the 40D & 150mm

the liveview function on the 40D is super cool with macro photography. while using the XTi, i could never tell if i got the polyps in focus....thus it was mostly luck when trying to crop pics for super macro shots.

the liveview makes that super easy, as you can actually digitally zoom into the picture on the screen to see if your polyps are in a perfect focus. very neat feature!

the image quality is crystal clear.....much sharper than the XTi IMO. however, i felt like i lost allot of vividness after converting the images from RAW to JPEG...and then cropping and downsizing them. looks like i need to get a more up to date photo editing program.....

the RAW images just absolutely blew me away!
