Thanks Pat!

Here's the other anemone I received. It's a condy I think, right?

Yep, that one is a condy.
How about you post a few more pictures now that we've split. It's always great to see pictures.

I don't have access to very many right now since I'm at work. But I could post a few of the older ones if you want. I'll post some new ones tonight though.

I love those worms. I want to get two really small rocks. Gonna contact them and see how much it would be for two 3 pound rocks if they can do that.

yes, any nice pictures would be great.

pws....it will not be cost effective to just have a teeny bit of rock shipped to you.

I can't believe how many christmas tree worms I got with part two. I feel really lucky because I know other people have posted that they really wanted one and didn't get any. I have about 10.

Pat how long have you had your rock now? Maybe you can do some closeups now and show how the rocks lasts. I would think alot of the sponges would die unless you feed the tank?

Danielle,

I have the remora also and one thing that has come up in the equipment forum is that the plastic clips can slip and cause problems. A couple of suggestions were to get stainless clamps and get a longer length of tubing to connect the mag to the remora. Just thought I'ld mention it since you commented on how fragile you thought the clamps were.

It seems to just be rock in between the worms but it's a different color. It almost looks like the gray sponge you see on some of the rocks but it's a different texture.

****edit: sorry I just looked at the picture again. Yes the red is sponge. That rock has tons of sponges on it but as I said above, is a little different.

Thanks for the suggestions. I might have to try that. Other than the clips I love the skimmer, super easy to use and works really well. Do the stainless clamps cause any problems?

This is the thread where we were discussing this. The idea is that stainless steel doesn't corrode (as fast) in salt water.

Thanks for the link. I'm hoping to set up a sump in the future and was thinking to just extend the hose between the pump and the skimmer and keep using the Remora, nice to know that others have extended that hose and it worked fine. I'll have to ponder it a bit more

My understanding is it all depends on the grade of stainless that is used. People think that stainless steel won't rust but it can and will.

I'm off to the airport in about 30 mins. Just checked with Southwest and everything seems good and the flight is actually showing that it should be at BWI a little early. I'm getting 5 boxes totaling 270 lbs.
