#1 best way to remove aptasia?
i bought a 3 lb peace of L/R and when i put it in and let it sit, i found 3 aptasia's growing on it. i was wondering, what is the best and safest way to remove them???

haha i read every word in that thread, i was really considering getting a peppermint shrimp, instead of adding anything that could be harmful to the water. i dont wanna kill any of my corals.

I think those are Mojano (sp) Amenones. They are harder to get rid of than Aptasia as few predators feed on them. I have had good luck using Joe's Juice, though.

I actually saw some post the other day that he used a Propane torch, I'm thinking about it

I once got a rock with about 5 aptasia on it. I tried supergluing them in their holes (got one that way) and tweezers (bad idea, don't ask). I've had 3 peppermints in my 75 for 18 months and have seen 1 since then. It was up by the top of the tank and Joe's juice took it out in 10 minutes.

Small nuclear warheads should work but with my luck the radiation would make one grow 50 feet tall.
