Considering that only 3 or 4 people have been confirmed to die from Bluering bite I would immagine that they might be a bit reluctant to do it. Doesn't make this guy much smarter though. He was probly the 3rd or 4th

I think it is Photoshoped. Do you ever seen an octopus on something with his arm not wrap around it? None of the arm of the Bluering even slightly wrap the fingers.

Yeah and the fact that the tentacles are more out of focus than the fingers at the same depth of field give a clue that it's faked.
