snails dont like sand
hi people...i have a 55 gal FOWLR right now and i have 5 snails and one mex. turbo, why does it seem like all the snails but the turbo hate the sand, when they get on it, its like they flip over on their backs and try not to touch it, but the turbo is all over it.

They can't flip over by using the weight of the sand (nothing to grab onto). I don't know about you, but if I could not get up when I fall on sand, I would stay the heck off it. Especially with preditors in the area.

not sure about them. It would make sense that they would have trouble also. Maybe the turbo's are stupid
